Margie was born in Belleville, Ontario on October 26, 1922, the eldest daughter of James and Ethel McCoy. She married Lionel W. Dafoe on July 8, 1942 in Burton, MI. After working for Consumers Power for 30 years she spent many winters in Fountain Hills, AZ with her husband. Margie was a very active, lifelong member of the former Bentley Wesleyan Church and sang in their choir. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her family and friends.
Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lionel; parents, James & Ethel McCoy; brothers, Carman and Joseph McCoy; brothers-in-law, Leroy and Wayne Dafoe; sister-in-law, Arlene Jackson. She leaves many special memories for her numerous nieces and nephews to cherish.
