Allene Barlowe, age 90, of Bybee, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.
She was a member of Stokely's Chapel Baptist Church; also attended Clay Creek Baptist Church and owned and operated Allene's Beauty Shop for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ercel Lee Barlowe; parents, Chandler Brown and Dollie Brown Smith; brothers, JR. Brown, Gary Brown and Junior Brown; sisters, Doris Hughes, and Eula Mae Ford.
She is survived by her sister, Idella (Jimmy) Johnson, of New Tazwell; brother, Will Brown of Bybee; stepdaughters, Vicky Martin and Kathy Johnson of Rock Hill, S.C; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday January 17, 2023, in Stokely's Baptist Church Cemetery.
