Warren W. Martin, 94, of Fleetwood, PA, died peacefully on January 16, 2023, at Zerbe Retirement Community. He was born July 14, 1928 to Aaron and Alice (Weber) Martin in Adamstown, PA.

He married Verna Good on October 13, 1951, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage together.

Warren briefly took over the family farm before being ordained as a Mennonite minister in 1953. After completing a two year Associate Degree at Eastern Mennonite College, he served as pastor of Alsace Manor Mennonite Church from 1958 until his retirement in1997. During this time he also worked full time as a carpenter.

Throughout his life, Warren enjoyed gardening, woodworking and reading. He was a lover of nature, four part singing and ice cream.

He was preceded in death by his wife Verna, and three brothers, two sisters, and two great grandchildren. He is survived by six children, Susan, married to Tim Gierschick of Oley, Naomi, married to Gerald Miller of Shipshewana, IN, Joann, married to Emanuel Miller of Constantine MI, Linford, married to Chloe Grasse of Greencastle, Maietta, married to Jeff Ludwig of Fleetwood, and Michael, married to Kim Martin of Greencastle; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one sister, Viola Weaver, of Harrisonburg VA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18 at 11 AM at Bowmansville Mennonite Church, 129 Pleasant Valley Road, East Earl. A family visitation will be held before the service from 9 to 11.
