ROGERS - George Maile, 79, of Rogers died Feb. 21, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Aug. 29, 1928, in , Kan., to Frank Maile and Nellie Copeland Maile.

He was a 1947 graduate of Eureka Springs High School. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 100. He was a western movie history enthusiast and enjoyed card games. He worked as a printer for Walter's Printing in Bentonville and Philip's Litho in Springdale. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Josie Maile of the home; three daughters, Mary McCoy of Springdale, Sara Maile and Pam Ingram, both of Rogers; two sisters, Phyllis Cooper of Rogers and Harriet Phelps of Riverside, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Rogers Cemetery with Robert Cupp and Russell Dorch officiating. A Masonic service will follow.

Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 100 in Rogers.

Arrangements are by Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
