Elmer Frank Newton (November 9, 1927 – January 7, 2022)
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Elmer Newton at age 94. He passed peacefully in his home with family members by his side.
Elmer was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nettie, a daughter, and four sons. Elmer is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Elmer was born in Hartney, Manitoba to Frank and Beulah. He lived with his parents and 7 siblings in Souris, Manitoba.
He is survived by his sister, May and brothers, Bruce and Albert. Elmer was predeceased by his eldest son, Darrell Elmer Newton in 1998(Sonia).
He was also predeceased by his siblings, Ken, Russell, Lawrence, and Harold Newton. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
