Benjamin Talbot, a merchant in Providence, died on Christmas Day 1864 at an advanced age of 98 years. He married at least twice, (1) Sarah Gardiner. They had two daughters. Following the death of his first wife, he later married (2) Pamela Larned. According to the City of Providence Death Return (Report), he was buried in the West Ground cemetery. This cemetery was decommissioned by the city. The graves were disinterred and the stones removed, and reinterred to either Cranston or Swan Point. It is not known to date with certainty where his grave was moved, but I hope it was Swan Point near his parents and his second wife.
