They move to Floyd County, Iowa where her widowed father Philip Moore, and other siblings are living. Stephen and Julia had a son Stephen Adalbert born about 1862.
She lives out the remainder of her life in Floyd Co., Iowa, and is believed to be buried in Oakwood Cemetery in an unmarked grave, probably near her second husband Stephen Houghton, who died the same year.
