Age 91, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 2, 1931, in Hartford Michigan.
George is survived by his wife of 70 years, Barbara J. Olds; three children, Sandra Deming (Philip), Debra Hein (Ed) and Randy Olds (Karen); as well as eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
George was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a faithful volunteer fireman with the Hartford, Michigan Fire Department. George was a fervent supporter of the University of Michigan Wolverines.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
