Our shining example and matriarch was called home on 2/13/2023 at the age of 97. Elouise Hardin Allison, born 02/02/1926 in Charleston, MS to Father, Flossie Leslie Hardin and Mother, Rose Iona McGregor was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Quin Hardin, Charles (Peggy) Hardin, her sister Ruth (Charles) Kirk, her husband of fifty six years, Andrew C. Allison ("Ras"), her son, Bobby Allison, and her son-in-law, Max May. Elouise raised three children in Memphis, TN. She worked more than 30 years for Kellogg's Inc. where she made lifelong friendships and traveling companions. She and her husband loved to travel the world together. She was known for her love of Jesus and could always be found ready and willing to help anyone who needed her. She loved to work in the garden, study her Bible, and attend every possible event of her nine grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. She leaves her daughter, Nancy May of Miramar Beach, FL, her son, Anthony Allison (Ginger) of Horn Lake, MS, her daughter-in-law, Rita Allison of Southaven, MS, countless grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends forever touched by her beautiful spirit.
