Mass for Mrs. Josephine Crescenzi of 623 Richmond, wife of Joe Crescenzi, will be said at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary with Memphis Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Crescenzi, who was 68, died at 8:25 a.m. yesterday at St. Joseph Hospital after a three-year illness. Born in Ancona, Italy, she moved to Helena, Ark., with her family 58 years ago. A naturalized United States citizen, Mrs. Crescenzi also lived in Illinois a few years, but spent most of her life in Memphis. Her first husband, Fred Alfonso, died in 1923, and she was married to Mr. Crescenzi, now a retired brickyard foreman, in 1929. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She also leaves three sons, Mario Alfonso of 4506 Charing Cross, Vince Alfonso of 4512 Charing Cross, and Frank Crescenzi of Lansing, ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Shockley of 1788 Valley; two brothers, Sam Boldreghini of 375 East Trigg and Charles Boldreghini of 473 East Trigg; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Benedetti of 1782 South Lauderdale and Mrs. Alex Montesi of 631 Richmond; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
