Orange was a son of Olive and David H. Kellyer. He was living in San Antonio, Texas when he died from "consumption", according to cemetery records.

Note: According to "Massachusetts, Town Clerk, Vital and Town Records, 1626 - 2001", Orange's mother's name was Emily Gardner. His wife was Bertha Olive.

In the NY state Census, 1875, when Orange was 9 yrs. old, he had 2 siblings: a sister, Jessie M. and a brother, Frankie R., both younger. Their mother's name was listed as "Addie R."

He married Bertha Olive Carpenter on October 23, 1893 in Shelburne, MA. They had a son, David Claude, born Dec. 1, 1895.
