Darla was born in Dallas and adopted by Leon and Marion (Haley) Constable on June 23, 1961. She went to Abilene area schools and graduated from Wylie High School. Darla was a cosmetologist and also a school teacher, having taught school for the Baird Independent School District. Darla loved laughter and had fun every day. She loved her grandsons and was known as DarDar to so many others.
Darla was preceded in death by her father Leon and also her husband Ed Rister.
Darla is survived by her mother, Marion Constable of Abilene; daughter, Haley Gray of Clyde; sister, Sherri Ann Constable of Abilene; grandsons, Tripp Garvin and Miles Gray; 2 very special friends, Debby Windham of Baird and Linda Darnell of Baird: and her dog Blue.
