Edward is the only member of the 508th to be buried in this cemetery. The location was apparently chosen in order allow to rest next to his younger brother George who is buried in Plot F Row 10 Grave 5. The two men were sons of Nils and Dagmar Christensen. Edward, born in 1919, was five years older than George.
