She was born June 22, 1933, in Rosebud County, Sumatra, Montana, a daughter of the late Frank & Olivia (Hecker) Burkart.
Anna attended and Graduated from Glenbeulah High School in 1951. On November 8, 1952, she married Lawrence Kohlmann at St. Fridolin's Catholic Church in Glenbeulah. Lawrence preceded her in death on August 30, 2022.
She worked at Weiss Implement, Glenbeulah and the Plymouth Company.
Anna was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, Eden, and a member of the Christian Women Society.
Survivors include, one daughter, Mary (Luis) Cabellero of Mayville; five sons, Richard (Jan) of Milwaukee, Thomas of Appleton, Timothy of Waldo, Donald (SueAnn) of Kiel, Kenneth of Waldo; seven grandchildren, Michael (Debora), Steven (Sandra), Daniel (Stephanie), Scott (Gina), Luke (Brittney), James (Cortney) Kohlmann, Mindy (Tim) Artz; 11 great grandchildren, Sophie & Arabella, Clarissa, Veronica & Dorthy, Colton & Dalton, Paige & Payton, Kohlmann, and Ava & Aly, Artz. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Kohlmann; her parents; sisters, Mary (Frank) Herber, Catherine Schaefer, and Rose (Ray) Poch; brothers, Joseph (Helena), Leo (Delores), Arthur, and Francis Burkart.
She will be missed by her many friends.
A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be help at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden, WI 53019. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Anna will be laid to rest in the Our Lady of Angles Catholic Cemetery in Armstrong.
Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Anna's family at the church on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM.
