Frank X. Burkart, 77, of R. 1, Glenbeulah, a retired farmer, died Sunday at Rocky Knoll Hospital.
Mr. Burkart was born in Sheboygan, Sept. 9, 1889, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burkart Sr. He attended school in St. Nazianz. On Nov. 29, 1916, he married Olivia Hecker, of Sumatra, Mont. The couple farmed in the Sheboygan area, before Mr. Burkart retired several years ago because of illness.
Mr. Burkart was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church, the Apostolate of Suffering, and the Holy Name Society.
One son, two grandchildren, four brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death.
A requiem mass will be offered at St. Dominic Catholic Church, with Fr. Cyril Volz serving as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
