Jamie Meador Clark, 70, of Fayetteville, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born February 27, 1953 in Tulsa, OK to Brice and Jackie Meador.
She was preceded in death by her father Brice Meador; her son Matt Clark; her sister Vicki Ellis; and her father and mother-in-law David and Vaughdeen Clark.
Jamie started her career at the Springdale Youth Center, and continued to work with youth at Greenland and Springdale Public Schools. Although teaching was her career, her greatest love was her family (especially her twin grandchildren Jace and Ella, who she spoiled tremendously). She enjoyed outside activities such as working in the yard, walking, biking with family and her many friends. Jamie loved traveling with family to the beach and ski slopes. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Larry Clark; her daughter Jodie Doherty (Justin); her mother Jackie Meador; her sisters Elaine Goseland (Stan) and Manci Gage (Bob); her brother Jim Meador (Helen); her much loved grandchildren Jace and Ella Doherty; and multiple nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Beard's Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Ridgeview Baptist Church with Pastor Seth Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Round Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
