Arlen O. Stafford, 87, of Bartlett, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Quince Health Care and Rehab. He was a retired painter, a member of Mullins Station Baptist Church and a WW II Army veteran. Mr. Stafford was preceded in death by his wife, Monette L. Stafford and a son, Cliff Stafford. He is survived by three sons, Larry Stafford of Isle of Palm, SC, Mel Stafford of Bartlett and Rick Stafford of Atoka; his sister, Orie Davis of CA; three brothers, Tommy Stafford of Memphis, Mack Stafford of GA, and Lonnie Stafford of St. Louis, MO. Mr. Stafford is also survived by three granddaughters, nine grandsons, five great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery East.
