Elize Lee Isham, 94, of 3601 Cornelia Died Sunday at 3500 Park. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Park Street Baptist Church under the direction of the Sorrell-Peters Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sullivan.
He was born Dec. 15, 1886 at Campbell, the son of John Clark and Jane Hackler Isham.
On Aug. 18, 1909 he was married to Nannie Hatchett at Cumby. He was a member of the Park Street Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife of Greenville; a son Jasper Isham of Dallas; two daughters, Rosie Adams of Greenville and Eula Thompson; 13 grandchildren. 26 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
He is my Great Uncle.
