Mrs. Sadger was born Sept. 1, 1899, in Duplain Township, Clinton County, to Marion and Minnie Currier Smead.
She married Felix A. Sadger March 9, 1919, in Duplain. He died Aug. 26, 1963. She moved from Clinton County to Albion in 1919.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Albion Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels with Rev. Fred B. Cuningham officiating. Friends may call there after 7p.m. today. Burial will be in Albion Memory Gardens.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph C. (Beryl M.) Lake of Albion; two sons, Gaylord T. of Parma, and Loren D. Sadger of Springport; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mr. Florence Cordray of St. Johns, and Mrs. Laurel Stevens of Kalamazoo. A son, Floyd, preceded her in deather Feb. 14, 1984.
My great-grandmother, so kind, always smiling. She was a wild one however...I can remember on her 81st birthday, all she wanted was for my dad to take her out for a motorcylce ride. Needless to say, that is what she got! She had the bigest smile I had ever seen. Tiny woman with a huge personality and giving heart.
