Mr. Peter Cameron, lately coachman to Captain Sir Malcolm Macgregor of Macgregor, Bart., died at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary at the age of 61. In his early days Mr. Cameron was well known in agricultural circles as an all round hand at the various branches of agricultural work. He was for a considerable period in the service of Mr. Carmichael at St. Fillans, and latterly came to Edinchip as coachman. On the maternal side his ancestors have been in this locality for many generations, his father being a native of Kenmore, Loch Tay. The funeral took place to Balquhidder Churchyard. The Rev. Mr. Cameron officiated.
