Linda Alford, age 75, of Huntsville, Alabama and formerly of Marion County passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 in Huntsville.

Linda was born in Harrison, Arkansas to Dennis Wayne and Alma Mae (Waggoner) Harris on January 16, 1948. She had worked in home health. She was a very selfless person; she would help anyone. Mrs. Alford is survived by her son Wayne Merriman of Fairbanks, Alaska; her daughter Amy Merriman of New Hope, Alabama; four grandchildren Landon Merriman, Lexie Merriman, Gavin Swearengin, and Chase Swearengin, and great-granddaughter Rosaleigh Swearengin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mick Alford, a son Jason Merriman, and two brothers: Jim Harris, and Kenneth Harris.
