His estate was divided 2 July 1757, between his wife Lydia, his son John and his daughters Elizabeth wife of Elisha Johnson, Sarah wife of Asa Clark, Lydia Hopson, Mary Hopson, Hannah Hopson and Prudence Hopson. His widow Lydia m. Henry Bliss of Lebanon and died 31 Mch 1761. John Hopson father of No 244 was from Rhode Island."
