Rebecca "Polly" Arrington Lee, 89, of Hamer, died April 1, 2023 at NHC Place, Cavette Hill in Knoxville, TN.
Born in Oxford, NC on August 9, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Crawford Garland Arrington, Sr and Josephine Wheeler Arrington. She was a member of Kentyre Presbyterian Church and an employee of Dixiana Mills for many years. She spent her retirement enjoying family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (John) Farry of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Katie Farry of Knoxville, TN; grandson, Paul Lee of Iowa; great-grandson, Jaxon Sammons of Knoxville; sister, Peggy Carmichael and brother, William Arrington of Dillon, SC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Lee; son, William F. Lee; four sisters, Harriet Shooter, Wilhelmina Lee, Carol Lewis and Sally Shooter; two brothers, Garland Arrington and Herbert Arrington.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
