MELBOURNE - Glenna Faye Caraway Helm, 60, of Mount Pleasant died Monday, March 19, 2001, at Mount Pleasant.
Born Sept. 2, 1940, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of John Frank and Fubie Ann Craig Caraway. She was assistant director of the Mount Pleasant Preschool and a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Hearl Gene "Peanut" Helm; a son, Phillip Helm of Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Chrystal Conrad of Melbourne; her mother, of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Ronnie Caraway of Mount Pleasant; five grandchildren, Ashley Helm, Kevin Helm, Dillon Helm, Skylar Franks and John Phillip Conrad; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father. Her daughter, Jamie Helm, also died Monday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pine Grove Community Building at Reeves Cemetery near Guion with Jerry D. Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Reeves Cemetery with arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers are Dewey Love, Ray Dover, Gary Moser, Chris Johnson, Dale Smith and Gary Sims.
Honorary pallbearers are Ernest Wood, J.D. Hall, Dan Raupp, John Phillip Conrad, Dillon Helm, Kevin Helm, Robert Ramsey and Carl Burleson.
