MELBOURNE - Jamie Sue Helm, 21, of Mount Pleasant died Monday, March 19, 2001, at Mount Pleasant.
Born Nov. 17, 1979, in Batesville, she was the daughter of Hearl Gene "Peanut" Helm and Glenna Faye Helm. She was employed by Nuway Cleaners in Batesville and attended Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. She was a 1998 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Skylar Renee Franks of Mount Pleasant; her father, of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Phillip Helm of Mount Pleasant; a sister, Chrystal Conrad of Melbourne; a grandmother, Fubie Ann Caraway of Mount Pleasant; and her fiance, Luke Franks of Melbourne.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Frank Caraway; and her paternal grandparents, Ezra and Bessie Helm. Her mother, Glenna Helm, also died Monday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pine Grove Community Building at Reeves Cemetery near Guion with Jerry D. Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Reeves Cemetery with arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers are Joe Jackson, Ricky Kimble, Terry Kimble, Danny Franks Jr., Frankie Bruyette and Tim Brooks.
Honorary pallbearers are Mount Pleasant Class of 1998.
