Joseph P. Aubry, lifelong Point Place resident, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 9, 2008, at the age of 77. Joe was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where he was a member of the golf league. Joe worked as a sheet metal worker for Local Union 6/33 where he was a member for over 50 years. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy where he earned an honorable discharge. Joe's most important accomplishments were as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Joe was preceded in death by parents, Francis and Ruth Aubry and brother, Jack. Left to cherish Joe's memory are loving wife of 45 years, Pat; children, Amy (Steve) Young, Tim (Cyndi) Aubry and Joe (Brenda) Aubry; grandchildren, Mitchell, Seth, Alexa, Kali, Amanda, Dakota, Cheyenne, Ethan, Keith (Hayley), Evan and Adam; great-granddaughter, Kadence; sisters, Evelyn (Robert) Pearson, Mary (Jack) Abel; brother, Larry (Joyce) Aubry; sister-in-law, Shirley Aubry; nephew, Mike and many other special nephews, nieces and friends. Family will receive visitors in the David R. Jasin Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, Toledo, OH (419-726-1583) on Thursday, March 13, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Scripture services will be Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (Summit at 124th Streets) on Friday, March 14, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Wehinger officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in Joe's name are asked to consider Hospice of NW Ohio.
