Born in Irvington, NJ, she lived in Mount Holly for many years before moving to Somerdale to live with her daughter, Nancy. Patricia was a devout Catholic and was the former president of the Forever Young Club and was a volunteer with the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She served her country in the Navy and married her Marine husband, Ludovico. Pat was a seamstress sewing her own Marine Corps ballgowns and outfits for the Fife and Drum Corp. She was active as a leader for both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Pat served on the Board of Elections. She was an avid reader and loved to cook but her favorite passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a bingo enthusiast and a casino goddess.
She was the loving wife of the late Ludovico and loving mother of the late Thomas Proto. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Caron, Dianne Smith, Valerie Parks and Nancy Proto. She is survived by her grandchildren; Brandiff Caron, Sean Smith, Justin Caron, Brad Smith, Patrice Caron, Laura Szafran, Victoria Parks, Joshua Parks, Jared Parks and Alexandra Parks. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Sacred Heart Church, 260 High Street, Mount Holly, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Church. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington, NJ
