Laurna Laisdell passed peacefully at the VanDuyn Nursing facility in Syracuse early Friday morning. Laurna had been a rehabilitation patient there since August 4th.

Laurna is survived by her twin sister Laura, of 8 Clay Street Adams, where both had resided for many years. Laurna's family was deep rooted in the local area having been born on their family farm in Woodville,NY in 1935, her being the younger twin.

Laurna was predeceased by her older brother Ed Trevett and his wife Leah, her younger sister June Fowler and brother-in-law Howard Nichols.

Surviving Laurna are her twin sister; stepson and wife; two granddaughters; two grandsons; brother-in-law; and many Trevett and Fowler nieces and nephews.

Laurna will be best known as the never shy bartender and hostess of Tomacy's Restaurant where there was always a story told and laugh to be had. A lover of barn dances and Golf she always was up for anything.

A joint service for twins Laura and Laurna was held at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Adams, NY, on Saturday April 29, 2023.
