After the death of her husband Abraham Byrd in 1893, the widow Mary Byrd was in the 1900 census for Zavala Co. TX living with her son. One researcher stated that Mary 'Permelia' (Kerr) Byrd died in 1906 and was buried beside her husband, however the only transcription available for the cemetery did not have her listed.
