GORDON (T-HNS) - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Gordon for Joseph Belsky, who died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1987, at the VA Hospital in Hot Springs, S.D. The Revs. Frank Kirtley and Bill Hulett officiated, and burial was in Conley Flats Cemetery.

Belsky was born Dec. 16, 1894, at Armstrong, Neb., to the late Thomas and Christina Belsky. He married Jenny Rose Starr on Sept. 29, 1928, at Eli.

Among his survivors are four daughters, Leora Mossett of Merriman, Marlene Stapleton of Kingfisher, Okla., Judy Hulett of Tulsa, Okla., Judy Hulett of Tulsa, Okla., and Nancy Philyaw of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Guy of Gordon and Ilo of Eli; nine grand and eight great-grandchildren.

Chamberlain-Gates Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
