The News Palladium carried an obituary for George Busick 0n 26 Mar 1946 and it reads: "Glendora Grower Taken By Death - Glendora, March 26-Geroge Busick, II, Baroda Township farmer, died suddenly at his farm home near here at 9:30 Monday night of a heart attack. He was 68. He was born in Russia Aug. 24, 1877 and was married there to Catherine Felsing, who survives him. He came to the United States in 1900 and returned to his native country in 1906. In 1912 he returned to the United States and settled here. Surviving besides his wife and father, George, are four daughters, Mrs. George Freehling, Mrs. John Zielke, all of Glendora; one son, George, of Glendora; one brother, Andrew Busick, of Glendora and 13 grandchildren. Three of his children died in infancy. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday in the Glendora Trinity Lutheran church, following a prayer service at the residence at 1:30 p.m., Friday. The rev. E. K. Jeschke, pastor will conduct the services. Burial will be made in the Hinman cemetery. The body is at the Kenny-Connelly funeral home, Galien."
This same news paper carried a follow-up on 27 Mar 1946 and it reads: "Funeral Hour For G. Busick Listed - Glendora, March 27-Funeral services for George Busick, II, Baroda township farmer who died Monday night, will be held Thursday, instead of on Friday as previously announced. A prayer service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with the funeral services following at 2 p.m. at the Glendora Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev. E. K. Jeschke, pastor, will officiate. Mr. Busick died at 9:30 Monday night at his farm home near here after a lingering illness of two years."
