Clifford Aubushon

Clifford Aubushon longtime Phillipsburg resident, passed away May 24, 2000 at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 89. He was born July 23, 1910 in Webster Co, NE. the son of Lewis and Daisie Rosencrans-Aubushon.

Clifford owned and operated the "Cliff's Cafe" in Phillipsburg in the 1930's through the 1940's, he then became a police officer in Phillipsburg. He also worked as a carpenter in Phillips County area, helping to build many homes. He later went to work at Petersons Excel in Smith Center, retiring in the 1970's.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Phillispburg.

Clifford married Nora E. Grote on March 2, 1945.

Survivors include his wife, Nora of the home; one son, Ronnie Rae Aubushon and wife Cynthia; one grandaughter, Dawn Cornejo and husband Mike; and one great-freand daughter, Brittany Blaine, all of Conway Springs.

Memorial services were held Sunday May 28th at 2 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Pastor Joel Hiesterman Officiating.

Fred R. Henrichs, soloist, sang "the Old Rugged Cross" and " What a Friend We Have in Jesus" accompanied by Helen Witmer.

Arrangements were handled by Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel
