Paul Haupt, age 73, of Manitowoc, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Holy Family Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Paul was born on July, 31, 1949 to the late Robert and Salome (Evenson) Haupt of Manitowoc. Paul graduated from Valders High School in 1968.

On February, 15, 1975 Paul married the love of his life, Annette Tadych at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton, WI.

Paul worked for Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry from 1971 until his retirement in 2014. Paul also drove milk truck for Haupt Trucking. This was a part-time job but also a favorite pass time of Paul's; he truly enjoyed getting to talk with the farmers and workers at the dairy.

Paul also served his country as a member of the Army Reserves. Paul cherished spending time with his family whether it was at a cottage in Athelstane, a family reunion, children's sporting event or gathered around a table playing a game of Sheepshead. In his younger years Paul was an avid bowler. Paul also enjoyed volunteering at Holy Family Memorial Hospital after his retirement. He loved getting to meet new people and offer whatever assistance they needed. Paul was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back without giving it a second thought.

Paul was an active member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills parish. Paul was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, and Steel Workers Local 125.

Paul is survived by his wife, Annette, Manitowoc; his four children, Nathan and Marcia Haupt and their daughter Meagan of Fond du Lac; Justin Haupt and special friend Justina Green of Oregon; Britney Haupt and special friend Bernie Wolfram of Two Rivers; Brandon and Courtney Haupt of Manitowoc. Siblings, Carol and Kevin Witt, Sheboygan; Joan and Chris Pritzel, Reedsville; David and Theresa Haupt, Manitowoc. Sister-in-law, Julie and Tim Endries, Kiel. Also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews and their families.

Paul was also proceeded in death by an infant daughter, Rhonda Haupt, sister, Mary Haupt, brother, Mark Haupt.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Friday April 28, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday April 28, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Entombment of the cremated remains will be at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Paul's name. Expressions of sympathy may sent to the family by visiting www.lendmanfh.com

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Holy Family Memorial Hospital and to Sharon Richardson Hospice for the care and compassion shown towards Paul and his family. The Lendman Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
