Aunt Clara was born in Lamar, MO to Carl C. Chaplin and Hannah Elizabeth Sheat. She was the 7th of 8 children! She was followed by a younger sister. She grew up in rural Kansas, on a small farm with to electricity or running water! She married Chris William "John" Page, who was the brother of her sister-in-law Doris. John and Clara Belle had four loving sons, with one preceding her in death only a couple days before.
Clara Belle had a green thumb, she always had these beautiful gardens in her home. She also was an avid fisher, embroider, babysitter, and crossword and jigsaw puzzle enthusiast! But her main joy was her family, including her sons. She always prepared home-made noodles and pie for the family at family gatherings!
