His best pal is found here Dora Persons

Cooper has been such a big member of our family since he adopted us when we visited the Pueblo, Colorado shelter and took him home. He loved us so much and so unconditionally; it broke our heart that we had to let him go.
Cooper was such a loving dog. He cared for us better than we cared for ourselves. He was Dora Horse's best pal and together they went on so many adventures together. He traveled with us and got to visit 12 states sitting in the back seat of the car watching out the window or leading the way on a hike or excursion.
He loved our Turn't Up Tuesday family get-togethers and would stand at the front door waiting for everyone to arrive. He loved to go on walks, especially in tall grass where he would prowl like he was a spy or big hunter. When he was ready for a rest, he curled up next to one of us after burrowing under a blanket. He would make sure that the tip of his nose was covered so it didn't get cold.
He developed epilepsy 2 years ago and fought that horrid disease like a champ, never letting it stop him from enjoying a great life until early this morning.
I give Cathy my deepest thanks, and highest praise for giving our Coop the very best care these last two years especially. You sacrificed a lot to make certain that Cooper had the best life and I can't thank you enough.
Our house is so empty without our Cooper and our little family isn't the same now that Cooper and Dora Horse are gone.
Run free Coop! We will see you on the other side! You are such a good boy buddy!
