REECE, HERMAN CLAY in Fresno, December 24, 1988, age 88. Pioneer farmer on West side in Tranquility area. Multi-term trustee of both Tranquility Elementary & High School Districts. Former trustee of Tranquility Irrigation District. Constable in Tranquility in 1940's. Member of First United Methodist Church in Tranquility, Madera Jobba Masonic Lodge#280, Fresno Scottish Rite Bodies, Tehran Shrine Temple, and past patron La Sierra Venus Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Husband of Irene Reece of Fresno. Father of Betty June White of La Conner, Washington; Mae Gordon of Tranquility and Lynn Palmer of Fresno. Brother of Georgia Franks of Clovis. Grandfather of 7 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 28, 1988 at 2 p.m. in the Calaveras Chapel of the Lisle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park. Remembrances may be made in his name to Tranquility First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or donor's favorite charity.
