Anna Marie Sherwood of Campbell, NY passed away on Nov 15, 2022. A celebration of Anna's life will be held at the VFW at 281 Baker St. in Corning, NY from 2-4 pm on Sun Jun 4. The family asks that you wear Anna's favorite color, green, in her honor at this celebration. As requested by Anna, there will be no funeral service.
Anna was born on Mar 6, 1927 to Floyd and Ida (Havens) Austin, Sr. of Campbell, NY.
Anna married Paul Wade Sherwood on Jul 3, 1948 at the Presbyterian Church in Campbell.
They had two children, Paula Ann Sherwood, born Dec 2, 1949, and Jackie W. Sherwood, born Dec 7,1950, who died shortly following his birth.
Anna is survived by her brothers David (Dorothy) Austin, William (Josephine) Austin, Douglas Austin, and Floyd Austin, Jr.; sister-in-law Ellie Austin; daughter Paula (Peter) Andrews; granddaughter April (William) Malphurs; grandson Marcus (Felicia) Smith; g-grandchildren Shannon Rao, Erin Smith, Sophia Rao, Trey Smith, and Raenika Smith; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Paul Sherwood; son Jackie Sherwood; parents Floyd and Ida Austin, Sr.; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert Austin, Harold Austin, Walter (Carol) Austin, and Warren (Liz) Austin, and Mora Austin; and sisters and brothers-in-law Marion (Ernest) Stedge and Laura (Bruce) Warren.
