Anthony "Tony" Mueller, 99, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 3:57 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at his residence.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2023, at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Reverend Father Richard Meredith and Reverend Father Basilio Az Cuc concelebrating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be said at 11:30 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Mehlville, St. Louis County, MO he was born March 17, 1924, the son of the late Joseph W. Mueller and Anna Jennewein Mueller. He was the founder and former owner of Kentucky Moving and Storage. He was a WWII United States Army veteran. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He was also a former member of the Elks, Lions Clubs, VFW, Kiwanis Club, and the American Legion. He was a Kentucky Colonel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years: Sandra "Sandy" Mueller; his daughter: Carol Morgan; his granddaughter: Elizabeth Morgan; his brother: Joseph Mueller; and his sisters: Madeleine Jobst, Dorothy Noe, and Marilyn Kramer.

Survivors include his daughters: Christe (Roger) Westfall and Beth Mueller both of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Jamie Morgan, Zachary Westfall, and Cate (Cullen) Marriott; his great grandchildren: Caroline Morgan, Anthony Morgan, and Rhodes Marriott; and his beloved K-9 companion: Charlie.
