In loving memory of Virginia E. Hoyle (Thille-Linck) who passed away March 13, 2013 of age related causes at the age of 94. She was born 5/25/1918 in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1941 she moved to Washington, DC where she met and married Jerome (Jerry) Thille on 6/21/41. In 1942 they moved to California, finally settling in Torrance. They had 9 children. They were divorced in 1972. She later moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1985. There, she mentored middle school children, and was active in volunteer work. Served as tour guide at the Arboretum for 2 years, and then at the Hult Center from 1992-2002. In 2002 Virginia performed her first skydive for her 84th birthday. She was married to Barney Hoyle 4/5/2003. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, crafts and adventure, liked to play cards with friends, and enjoyed traveling. She traveled extensively through Europe, Japan and part of the Mediterranean.

Virginia was predeceased by two of her children, Joseph M. Thille and Donna M. Thille. She is survived by her husband Barney, 7 children, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
