Vandy Wright, Jr., age 77, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
A parishioner of New Zion Baptist Church,
Vandy was preceded in death by parents Vandy and Margurite Wright; and brothers Earl Wright, Sr. and Clifford Butler.
He is survived by sister Geraldine Butler Lomax and will be dearly missed by all.
The family would like to give special thanks to St. Bernard Nursing and Rehab.
A visitation for Vandy will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM, and interment thereafter at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122.
