Doris J. Schryer age 85 of Upper Sandusky, died May 12, 2023 at Fairhaven Community. She was born Aug. 9, 1937 in Somerset, KY to the late Alpha and Daisy (VanHook) Brinson.
She married Harold R. Schryer on Oct. 24, 1959, he survives in Upper Sandusky. She is also survived by her children Tim Schryer, Tavares, FL, Sonya (Larry) O'Flaherty, Upper Sandusky and Michael (Ruthie) Schryer, Upper Sandusky, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a brother Vernon Brinson, Upper Sandusky, sisters-in-law Delana Brinson, TX, Regina Brinson, Upper Sandusky and a brother-in-law Richard Puchta, Carey. She is preceded in death by brothers Bernard Brinson, Vonice Brinson, sisters Rosie Puchta and Faye Critchfield.
Mrs. Schryer was a member of First Baptist Church, Upper Sandusky. She had worked on the production line at Westinghouse/AO Smith for over 35 years. Mrs. Schryer bowled in a league and had received many awards. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and visiting with her relatives in Somerset, KY and visiting Cumberland, KY, reading, completing word puzzles and playing Yahtzee.
A graveside service will be held Wed. May 17, 2023 at 10:30AM in Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Josh Swinehart officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
