Mr. Hassler left Springfield two years ago to make his home with his son. He came to Springfirld from Crab Orchard, Tenn., in 1901, and had lived in Springfield until two years ago.
He was a retired employee of the Big Four railroad. In addition to the son at whose home he died, he leraves another son, Riley H. Hassler, of Springfield, and one daughter, Mrs. Maude Moore, of Springfield, Route 1.... Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
