Mrs George Barnes, aged 70, died July 29 at Rockwood Hospital after undergoing an operation for appendicitis. Funeral services were held at the Christian church, of which she was a member, July 30 at 3 p.m. with Rev J G Wilson presiding.
She leaves her husband, George Barnes; a son, Dewey Barnes; and a daughter, Mrs Roy [Elvia Hassler] Monday.
Services were conducted at Haley's Grove cemetery.
Mr Barnes is residing at home at present, but plans to make his home with his son, Dewey and wife.
