Birth: Sep. 17, 1919 Death: Mar. 15, 2008 Bradley Cobb Sr., 88, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008, at the Middlesboro Health and Rehabilitation Facility. He was born in Bell County on September 17, 1919, and was son of the late Willie Cobb and Stella Partin Cobb. He attended Providence Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold Cobb and Andrew J. Cobb; two sisters Elsie Cobb and Edna Fletcher; and one granddaughter, Valerie Tolliver. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce M. Hamlin Cobb; one son, Bradley (Vestina) Cobb Jr.; five daughters, Barbara Tolliver, Debbie Cobb, Maxine (Bud) Rouse, Carol (Mark) Decker, and Shirley (Paul) Bogle; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Tommy Martin and Christine Southard. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Fuson officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brian Cobb, Tony Cobb, Matthew Tolliver, Rusty Reed, Jeff Fuson, and Franklin Tolliver.
