Darvil Dewey Brewer, Sr. was born on October 14, 1935 in Oglesby, to the late James Wesley and Ada Voss Brewer. He went to school in Oglesby and graduated from Oglesby High School in 1954. He built stock tanks and terraces for the Soil Conservation District and worked for the Temple Independent School District for many years. He moved back to Coryell County, residing in the Bethel community in 2001. Some of PewWee's favorite pastimes was playing dominoes, hunting and fishing along with caring for his garden.
He is survived by his son, D.J. Brewer; siblings, Carolyn, Viola, Ouida, Betty; grandsons, Travis Brewer and Jimmy Brewer; and two great grandchildren, Layla and Cayden Brewer.
