Reported to have immigrated at an early age with her parent. She married Benedict Mollet in 1853, Pennsylvania. Early pioneers to the county, arriving about 1854-1855. Benedict would enlist in the civil war, dying at the Battle of Champion Hill in 1863 leaving her to raise five children. She was well liked in the community by a large number of people.

Her name does not appear on the grave marker although MOTHER is written across the top. Her years of birth/death appear on the west side of the grave marker. Found in the family lot.
