Eldena E. (Rhodes) Larrabee, 88, of Searsport and Brooks passed away Aug. 10, 2016, at the home of her daughter in Brooks.

She was born Sept. 17, 1927, in Liberty, the daughter of Elden E. Rhodes and Irma (Thomas) Rhodes.

Eldena's husband of 49 years, Harold J.C. Larrabee passed away in 1995. She was also predeceased by her parents and sisters Dottie Gentner and Marilyn Banks.

Eldena is survived by brother Milford Rhodes; sister Cecile Gifford; sons John C. Larrabee and wife Cheryle, Harold J. C. Larrabee Jr. and wife Carol, Charles E. Larrabee and wife Nancy, and Kenneth A. Larrabee and wife Tootie; daughters Annette C. Tripp, Louise E. Ward and husband Thomas, Deborah A. Tripp and husband Clarence, Pamela J. Larrabee, and April D. Clements and husband Shawn; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. at the home of April and Shawn Clements, Route 139 in Brooks. Special thanks to Dr. Maizer and associates.
