Founder of Mutual Orange Distributers, which operated 40 California packing houses in his own name. Lake Gregory is named for him, 1500 acre planned resort. Owner and builder of the La Posada Hotel one of the most luxurious Hotels in Redlands. Owner of the 1,000 acre Marigold ranch, at one time produced 3,000 to 4,000 head of cattle a year. Owner of a theatre at Fifth and E Street in San Bernardino. Owner of the Security building on East Sate street.
Trustee of the University of Redlands since he helped to to be established. Chairman of the finance committee when $196,000 was raised for construction of the Y.M.C.A. Director of the Chamber of Commerce and on the advisory board of the Security First National Bank.
