She was a native of Pasquotank County, NC, daughter of the late Calvin B. James, and Lucy Casey James, and was wife of the late Robert Frank Yost.
She was owner and operator of Nina's Fabric Barn, a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fleet Reserve Association, CPOA, and worked with the Special Olympics for fifteen years.
She is survived by one daughter, Lucy Carol Yost of Elizabeth City, NC, special cousins, Carolyn and Delbert Creef, and special friend Mary Harris.
A Memorial service will be held in the Veterans Section of West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery
