Born on October 23, 1933 in Greensboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Dallas) Frew. She married in 1954 moving to Middletown, NY where she resided until moving to Stroudsburg in 1968. In 2018, she moved to Albuquerque, NM.
Music was a huge part of Anne's life. As a graduate of Converse College with a degree in Music playing the harp, Anne began working for Shawnee Press, Inc. in 1971 where she was a music editor. She played piano for Elementary school choruses and accompanied soloists in the Monroe County area for over 30 years. As such she worked with Pocono Lively Arts, Pocono Choral Society, Shawnee Choir and Shawnee Press on recordings, in workshops and in concerts.
She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Stroudsburg where she also played piano, sang in the choir and was an Elder.
Anne is survived by her two children. She was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Frew.
Anne's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Tuesday, May 30th at 10:30 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 575 Main Street, Stroudsburg with Rev. Beth Utley officiating. Private family burial to follow, will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Luna Del Valle Hospice, 4273 Montgomery Blvd Northeast, Suite K110, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
